The Society and its Constitution

ASAP was founded in 1951 and is essentially a federated association of branches plus unafiliated members throughout Australia. Every two years one of the branches provides a Federal Council and hosts a week-long national conference. The Federal Council maintains this web site as a communication medium for members and people interested in Animal Production.

Constitution

The Society is an incorporated body and its activities are carried out in accordance with a formal constitution. When needed, changes may be made to the constitution by the Biennial General Meeting. For both general information and for consultation when notice is given of proposed motions to change the constitution, a copy a copy can be downloaded by clicking the following link:
