ASAP Membership and How to Join
Membership of the Society is open to all people involved or interested in any aspect of Animal Production. ASAP membership is comprised of Fellows, Honorary Members, Ordinary Members and members who pay concessional subscription fees - full-time students and pensioners.
Fellows and Honorary Members
Fellows and Honorary Members are elected by the Federal Council following nomination by the branches and by individual members where there are no active branches. The criteria for election and lists of Fellows and Honorary members can be viewed by moving your cursor over the "Membership" button in the top navigation bar and clicking the drop-down item* you require.
New membership Application
If you are involved in, or interested in animal production in any way and would like to keep informed about developments in the animal industries, you should belong to ASAP. A nomination and subscription payment form is available here by clicking the drop-down "New members" item under the "Membership" button in the top navigation bar.
Please complete and submit this form on-line. In addition to automatically recording your contact and nomination information, the system provides facilities for your subscription payment. This can be either by secure on-line credit card transaction or by cheque/money order payment sent by mail. More details are provided as you use the systems.
You will see that two members of the Society must nominate you. If you do not know any members, please complete the rest of the form without their names and contact details and the Secretariat will contact you.
