Papers for Animal Production in Australia
ASAP will publish contributed 1-page papers and some invited plenary session papers as volume 28 of "Animal Production in Australia". This will also contain the summaries of the papers to be published in the special Issue of "Animal Production Science". Animal Production in Australia will be provided to all financial members of ASAP and conference delegates as a hard copy. An electronic copy (PDF) will be stored on the ASAP server with free search access from this web site and Livestock Library.
Final date for upload of manuscripts is 7 April 2010.
Guide for authors

The papers will be scrutinised by the editors for suitability and formatting and the content will be refereed by 1 reviewer.

Authors of the invited plenary and other 4-page papers which are to be published in "Animal Production in Australia" should follow the guide for 1-page papers with the following variations:
- Number of pages - as specified by the editors.
- A brief abstract is required. Heading: Abstract - 10pt, bold type, first letter upper case, single line space above, abstract starts on line below with first line indented 0.5cm.
- Section headings may be used - style as for abstract heading.
- Sub-headings within sections may be used - 10pt, italic, single line space above, text starts on line below with first line indented 0.5cm.

Copyright and publishing arrangements
Authors will retain copyright of their papers. However they are requested to assign a license to ASAP to publish their papers (in printed and electronic format) and for ASAP to grant permission for the papers on its server to be indexed by appropriate search entities. ASAP will not be able to accept papers without their authors' agreement to these arrangements.
