Secure On-line Registration
Procedure. The registration procedure has three stages: (1) Entry of your contact details and any accompany people (e.g. your spouse); (2) Choice of registration (full or day) and CRC Showcase tour, and (3) Registration payment - either online by the secure credit card facility which accepts Visa or Mastercard only, or after you complete the registration process, by cheque/money order or PayPal which offers a number of payment choices including credit card.
Society membership. Members of ASAP are eligible for a discount in conference fees if their subscription payments are up-to-date. ASAP welcomes new members and joining procedures are available on the web site. If you intend to join you may register for the conference as a financial member. If you are a current member who has not yet paid your current subscription dues, but intend to do so later, you may also choose the member option. However, anyone who uses the member option but has not paid the membership dues by the time of the conference will be required to pay the additional price for non-financial member delegates.

Young Scientist Award
Two awards will be made to young scientists presenting papers at the conference. One will be for a paper delivered by oral presentation, the other for a paper delivered by poster presentation. To be eligible, delegates must be 35 years of age or younger at the time of the conference.
Applications are to be made in the "Day registrations" section of the registration procedure - even if the applicant is registering for the full conference.

Registration Payment
Three payment methods are available: (1) Secure on-line credit card transaction when you register, (2) PayPal, and (3) Cheque or money order payment by mail.
Secure on-line credit card transaction. Payment online when you register is the fastest way to complete your registration. The system uses the MIE Software Secure Internet Payment Service. Please note that all online credit card transactions will appear on your statement as payment to "MIE Software Melbourne".
PayPal. Several payment options including credit card and direct bank transfer are available through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to use this option. To pay by PayPal, select “Register without Payment” at the registration screen. A tax invoice with payment information and instructions will be emailed to you.
Cheque or Money Order. We can accept cheques and money orders drawn on Australian banks or Australia Post, payable in Australian dollars. However cheque payments from outside Australia can only be accepted if they are made by international cheque payable in Australian dollars. All cheques and money orders are to made payable to "JK Connections". Please print your name and address on the back of the cheque.

Tax Invoice
A Tax Invoice detailing your registration and payment information will be emailed within three (3) working days (at the latest).

Social Program (Monday and Wednesday events exchanged 20 May 2010)
All registered delegates and accompanying persons receive a name badge to be worn to all conference sessions and to social functions.
Sunday 11 July 2010 - Registration and Welcome Reception
Registration 4-6pm. Duval College, UNE.
Welcome function 6-8pm. Duval College. Finger food and one complimentary welcome drink followed by a cash bar.
One ticket is included in the full delegate registration. Spouse or partner is welcome to attend at no additional cost.

6-9pm. Relax after a stimulating day of animal science. Cash bar is available.
Additional tickets can be purchased for $30 per person when you register through the online registration system.

Ridley AgriProducts Conference Dinner
Venue - Duval College Hall, UNE
7pm for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, 8pm dinner.
One ticket included in the full delegate registration. Additional tickets can be purchased for $95 per person when you register through the online registration system.

Informal Buffet
Venue - Duval College, UNE
When you return from your CRC Industry Science Showcase your coach will stop at Duval College. An informal buffet meal awaits you at the college from 6.30pm, the cash bar will open from 6pm, and the log fire will be ablaze. This meal is included in your registration, that is, it is provided at no additional cost to you.
If you are staying at a motel, please stay and enjoy the buffet meal and relax, then later catch one of the regular “Edwards” buses from the college into town, or you can order a taxi.
Should you prefer to make their own arrangements, ask the CRC coaches to take you into town. The conference committee can provide suggestions as to restaurants and hotels.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

. Cancellations received by email at the Conference Registrations Office by Monday 28 June 2010 will be accepted and fees refunded less AUD$100 administrative charge.
Cancellations received after 28 June 2010 cannot be accepted and will not be refunded. However special circumstances will be reviewed by the conference committee. Transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name and details of the person that will replace you must be advised in writing or email to the Conference Registrations Office before the Conference. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that delegates take out appropriate insurance covering, but not limited to loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through cancellation of the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin. If a cancellation is required, ensure any accommodation is also cancelled.

Overseas Delegates
It is necessary for overseas delegates to make their own arrangements to meet visa and any other requirements for entry into Australia. The Conference Organising Committee are not able to do this on behalf of delegates.

Privacy
Australia introduced the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 in 2001. The Conference Organisers comply with this legislation which is designed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information. Information collected in respect of proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be only used for the purposes of planning and conduct of the conference and may also be provided to ASAP or to organisers of future ASAP events. Individuals are entitled to access their own information held by Conference Organisers.
